Coach Ibrahim Tanko steps up training with Black Stars B side for Uzbekistan clash
The head coach for Ghana’s Black Stars B team, Coach Ibrahim Tanko on Wednesday stepped up training ahead of the friendly encounter against the White Wolves of Uzbekistan.
The national team of the West African country made up of home-based players traveled to the Asian country earlier this week in a bid to take advantage of the international break to give the coach the chance to assess players for upcoming assignments.
With a few training sessions from the last couple of days, the Black Stars B team has continued today.
The successful session according to sources had an improved squad size of 18 players as the team gears up for the friendly with the White Wolves of Uzbekistan.
Today’s training session had kids from a local school in Tashkent visiting the team’s base to watch them train and interact.
The clash has been scheduled for Friday, March 26, 2021, and will kick-off at 13:00GMT.
